We want our students to be happy and sucessful in their lives. We want them not only to be successful in their lessons but also we want them to be successful in art and in improving their culture. A good drama is performed by the Theatre Club every year. “knowledge and Ability Competition” is organised among the all departments every year. By this way the students share their knowledge and culture. If the students want they sing songs ,imitate their teachers,friends or artists.
Turkish Rebuplic and Atatürk are the most valuable values fort he Turkish Nation so “Memorizing Atatürk “ programs have got value to watch.
Turkish folk dance group give a differet taste to us. “Chess tournaments” are organised among the other schools and among our students.
We like our students a lot so we did,we do and we are going to do everything fort hem.
B- MUSIC ACTIVITIES
The students who has the ability in singing songs or playing instruments are selected. They come together at their free lessons and they practice .The followings are the activities that are organised in our school:

C-SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Our school had not only been successful in education period but also had been sucessful in sports. When the students’ lessons finish they goto the football ,basketball or volleyball areas to play. They organise football tournements among each other.However the Sports Saloon of our school has got a lot of opputunities.
All kinds of sports can be easily done in our school. Hentball Tournaments were organised eighteen times in Zonguldak and our school had been the first in fifteen of them.
Our school had also the chance of racing among the other Turkish cities. There are alot of footballers in Zonguldakspor who are graduated from our school. The number of the wrestlers is much more than other schools. All youngers must be active,clever and ethic both in their daily lives and in sports. This is what Atatürk taught us.
D-LEONARDO DAVINCI EUROPEAN CAREER EDUCATION PROGRAMME
There are great differences among the European Union and the other countries which are candidates to the Union .So, there is not a common sector or a terminology among all these countries. Nevertheless, there are not any sharings observations among these countries. To create a common intelligence and to get over all these differences three kinds of education programmes are prepared. These are as in the followings:
SOKRATES (GENERAL EDUCATION)
LEONARDO DA VINCI (CAREER EDUCATION)
YOUTH
The first step of this program was held in 1995-1999 and the second step was held in 2000-2006. The investigations about the third step is still going on.Turkey applied to EU to attend to all these programmes and had been chosen as the “National Agent” .So the Presidency founded European Union Education and Youth Center . An aggreement was signed by the concerned sides in 27.December.2002. The aim was to begin the starter activities in January 2004. These activities are nearly completed as they are planned but our projects were not selected so the big price of 50 millions Euro could not get. However, new projects are going to be prepared.
WHAT IS LEONARDO DA VINCI ? ( CAREER EDUCATION)
This program is prepared to evaluate and improve the career education politics. This program indicates the co-operation among countries which are in European Union and candidates to the Union.
WHAT ARE THE AIMS OF THE PROGRAM ?
The second step of Leonardo da Vinci indicates three basic points due to the periods of 2000-2006.
1-In every kind of career education the needs and interests of the students should be the most important point.
2-The technological and cultural differences should be integrated in the most convenient conditions.
3-The career education should be improved in two ways: The first one is to maket he tutoring strong with new attempts and skills and encourage the acqusition standarts among universities,special managements and the proper workshops.
WHO CAN USE THE ADVANTAGES OF LEONARDO DA VINCI?
Personal projects are not accepted in this program. Only juristic persons from managements or teachers from the schools can attend to this program. Actually this program integrates different cultures,different education systems, different managements and different people all over the world.
Every kind of career education schools, centrums,universities,investigation centrums, industry managements,volunteer manaagements can also attend to this program.
WHICH COUNTRIES CAN USE THE ADVANTAGES OF LEONARDO DA VINCI?
Totally 31 countries use the advantages of this program. These countries can be enumerated like this: There are 15 countries which are the member of EU. These are Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Holland, England, Ireland, Spain, Swiss, Italy, Luxembourg, Portuguese and Greece.
In the European Free Trade Region, there are three countries; Izland, Lihtenstayn, and Norway.
The countries joined to EU last are: Cek Republic,Estonia, Cyprus ,Letonia, Litvania, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Slovenia and Slovenia Republic.
The three candidates to EU: Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey.
